In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various automotive systems using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, steering components, and powertrain systems. Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance procedures to ensure vehicles meet safety standards. Repair engines and heavy equipment mechanics tasks as required, utilizing specialized knowledge of diesel engine repair and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Use hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle repairs meet quality standards. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and suspension systems. Skilled in working with schematics for precise troubleshooting and repairs. Experience working with ADAS technology, auto estimating, auto body repair, welding, and auto service procedures. Familiarity with tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair, oil changes, and general vehicle maintenance. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Strong mechanical knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; heavy equipment mechanics experience is advantageous.
