Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A Level Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that vehicles are operating safely, reliably, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle models, including those equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and to develop your skills in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems. Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, powertrain components, electrical systems, and vehicle wiring diagrams. Repair and service diesel engines, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Interpret schematics and electrical diagrams accurately to troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic issues. Execute wheel alignments, suspension work, and other vehicle system adjustments to optimize performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely during mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed, ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven dealership experience or equivalent in automotive repair environments. Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, including ADAS calibration and troubleshooting. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous but not essential. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately. Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and power tools safely and effectively. Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
