Independent Contractor Opportunity - Fleet Maintenance Mechanic (Secaucus, NJ) Courier Car Rental is seeking a self-employed, independent mechanic or mobile mechanic business to provide vehicle maintenance and repair services for our rental fleet on a contract basis at our Secaucus, NJ location.

Engagement Type:

Independent Contractor (1099) — this is a contracted service arrangement, not an employment position.

Compensation:

Weekly invoiced rate, based on scope of services — details provided to qualified applicants.

Service Coverage:

CC Rental has specific service days/hours it needs covered based on fleet volume — details shared directly with qualified applicants.

Qualifications:

Independently operated automotive/fleet mechanic business or established mobile mechanic service 3-5+ years of relevant experience; ASE certification preferred Own tools, diagnostic equipment, and means of transportation Comfortable operating as a non-exclusive 1099 contractor (able to service other clients concurrently) Comfortable invoicing weekly for services performed Experience servicing light-duty fleet vehicles (sedans, SUVs, vans): brakes, oil/fluid service, tires, batteries, diagnostics, preventive maintenance
