Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our energetic team! We are a family run business with a presence in our community for over 50 years! In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and enthusiasm. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently, delivering exceptional service that keeps them coming back. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized equipment to complete repairs with precision. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending maintenance solutions. Assist in auto estimating processes to determine repair costs accurately and efficiently. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, especially GM vehicles or similar brands. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment procedures, and powertrain repairs. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, vehicle maintenance routines, and automotive electrical systems. Strong customer service skills combined with auto estimating experience for transparent communication. $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
