Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems, ensuring proper operation. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and steering system diagnostics to optimize handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical systems such as lighting, sensors, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic modules. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Service vehicle electrical systems, including batteries, alternators, starters, and wiring harnesses. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to uphold vehicle longevity. Diagnose complex issues related to vehicle transmission systems and diesel engines with precision. Maintain detailed service records and provide accurate auto estimating for repairs performed or recommended. Ensure all work complies with dealership standards and safety regulations while delivering outstanding customer service. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Proficiency in reading schematics and interpreting automotive wiring diagrams accurately. Knowledge of ADAS technology integration and calibration procedures. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools for troubleshooting modern vehicle electronic systems. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems. Experience with vehicle maintenance routines such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and system inspections. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices safely and effectively. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and wiring diagrams interpretation. Familiarity with all makes is a plus but not required; technical proficiency in diverse vehicle brands is valued. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Service technician experience with auto estimating software is preferred but not mandatory.
