Full-Time | Contract Job Overview We are hiring Autonomous Vehicle Technicians to support maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and operational readiness for advanced autonomous vehicle platforms. This role focuses on vehicle service, electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, inspections, and supporting daily fleet operations. This position is open to technicians across multiple experience levels, from entry-level automotive technicians to advanced diagnostic technicians with leadership experience. Candidates with automotive, EV, robotics, fleet maintenance, or electrical troubleshooting backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on autonomous vehicle platforms Execute preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including wiring, circuits, and connectors Conduct vehicle readiness checks, inspections, and deploy support Follow repair procedures, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic processes Support log collection, troubleshooting, and system validation activities Use diagnostic and troubleshooting tools to identify and resolve issues Document repairs, close tickets, and communicate findings clearly Support shop organization, tooling, and operational readiness Escalate complex technical issues through proper channels Mentor junior technicians and support training efforts at higher levels Interface with engineering and operations teams to improve repair processes and fleet performance Requirements 2+ years of automotive, EV, robotics, fleet, or mechanical technician experience Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills Experience using automotive tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic systems Ability to follow structured repair and diagnostic procedures Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work in fast-paced operational environments Ability to lift equipment and work around vehicles for extended periods Preferred Qualifications Automotive degree or trade school certification ASE certifications Experience with electrical diagnostics, wiring repair, or CAN systems Soldering and terminal repair experience Experience with EV systems, high-voltage systems, or autonomous vehicle technology Experience mentoring or training technicians Experience using advanced diagnostic software and tools Technician Levels Level 1 Technician 2+ years of automotive experience Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs Support basic electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks Work under supervision while developing diagnostic skills Level 2 Technician 3+ years of automotive experience Perform advanced diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting Repair wiring issues, shorts, and open circuits Execute repairs and troubleshooting with minimal guidance Level 3 Technician 4+ years of automotive experience Advanced diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting capability Lead repairs, mentor technicians, and support process improvements Diagnose complex communication and high-voltage system issues independently Benefits Employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage Pre-tax commuter benefits Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employer-covered disability and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Additional Details Onsite role in Las Vegas, NV Must be authorized to work in the
