Overview- Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical skills and passion for automotive excellence will help keep our customers on the road with confidence. Responsibilities Will interact with customers so customer service skills a must or willing to learn Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to optimize vehicle performance. Work with diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics on diesel engine repairs and powertrain systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to disassemble, repair, or replace vehicle parts efficiently. Follow dealership procedures and safety protocols to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards. Assist in auto body repairs, welding tasks, and auto estimating as needed to provide comprehensive vehicle service. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, and auto body repair. Knowledge of transmissions, mechanical systems repair, brake repair, suspension work, and alignment procedures. Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software effectively. Pay:
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
