Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Tire and Lube Technician, where your skills will drive customer satisfaction and vehicle performance! In this energetic role, you'll be the go-to expert for tire services, oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic mechanical repairs. Your hands-on expertise will keep vehicles running smoothly while providing exceptional service that keeps customers coming back. Responsibilities Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair to ensure optimal vehicle safety and performance Conduct oil changes and replace automotive fluids such as coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid with precision Assist with minor mechanical repairs and vehicle maintenance tasks utilizing hand tools and power tools Diagnose basic automotive issues using standard diagnostic procedures and communicate findings clearly to customers or supervisors Support wheel alignments and other essential vehicle servicing tasks to enhance driving safety and comfort Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during all service operations Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed, recommending additional maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction Skills Previous dealership or automotive service technician experience is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and basic automotive systems Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment Experience in automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and minor mechanical repairs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working in a physically demanding environment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Knowledge of wheel alignment procedures and general vehicle maintenance practices Familiarity with automotive repair standards, safety protocols, and quality control measures Embark on a rewarding career where your mechanical skills make a real difference!
