Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and technical knowledge to solve complex automotive issues efficiently. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). Repair or replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, and steering systems with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks effectively. Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper repair procedures are adhered to for vehicle electrical systems and mechanical components. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed, including auto estimating documentation for billing accuracy. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service experience. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical system troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, suspension, steering, brakes, and transmissions. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred. Familiarity with ADAS calibration and automotive wiring diagram interpretation is highly desirable. Ability to operate automotive diagnostic tools effectively and utilize power tools safely. Strong customer service skills coupled with excellent communication abilities. Valid mechanic certification or equivalent technical training; ASE certification is a plus. Experience working with diesel engines and performing vehicle transmission system repairs is advantageous.
