Wingdale, NY Employment Type:
Part time seeking an experienced Part-Time Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, vans, trailers, and equipment. This position is ideal for a mechanic looking for flexible supplemental income. Work will be scheduled as needed, approximately 10 hours per week. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on company vehicles and equipment Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brakes, steering, suspension, and tune-ups Troubleshoot electrical and engine problems Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance needs Maintain service records and communicate repair recommendations Help minimize fleet downtime Qualifications Minimum 3 years of automotive or diesel repair experience Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems Experience with pickup trucks, cargo vans, trailers, and light-duty equipment preferred Valid driver's license Ability to work independently Own tools preferred but shop and tools available Compensation Flexible schedule Opportunity for additional hours as workload increases Vehicles and Equipment Our fleet / equipment includes: Ford Transit vans Ram 1500 trucks Ford
