Job Overview Join our automotive service team as an Automotive Alignment Technician! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of vehicle maintenance and precision alignment work, ensuring that every vehicle leaves our shop with optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help drivers enjoy smooth rides, improved handling, and extended vehicle lifespan. Responsibilities Perform wheel alignments, and brake work, on a variety of vehicles, including standard passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks. Utilize automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify alignment issues and underlying mechanical problems. Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, focusing on suspension components, steering systems, and related powertrain elements. Repair or replace damaged or worn parts such as tie rods, ball joints, control arms, struts, brake pads, and rotors, to restore proper alignment, vehicle handling and vehicle braking. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical systems to troubleshoot complex issues related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) sensors and calibrations. Use power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed service records, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and procedures. Skills Proven automotive repair experience with a strong background in alignment services. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and ADAS calibration processes. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, engine repair techniques, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience working with heavy lifting equipment, power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques safely. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
