As an Automotive Technician - A, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering. Conduct engine repairs such as diesel engine troubleshooting and overhaul. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and repair procedures. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and wheel balancing. Repair or replace auto body components as needed, including welding and other fabrication techniques. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Qualifications Proven experience or extensive mechanic experience working with diverse vehicle makes and models. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and ADAS technology. Skilled in reading schematics, interpreting diagnostic codes, and troubleshooting complex issues. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair and auto body repair techniques. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
