Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and air brake systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, wheel alignments, and shock & strut replacements to prolong equipment lifespan. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues across heavy trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment. Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair requirements. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs and maintenance activities while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Assist with assembly or disassembly of large components during major repairs or upgrades to ensure proper fitment and function. Experience Proven mechanic experience with heavy trucks or industrial equipment; Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and diesel engine repair. Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues across various machinery types. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; familiarity with power tools is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working in diverse environments such as farms, construction sites, or maintenance yards. • Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients.
