Location Monroe County and surrounding areas Employment Type Full Time Schedule Monday-Friday Compensation $20 - $30 $41,600. = $62,400. Our teams provide automotive glass repair, replacement and calibration support; custom residential glass and mirror solutions; and commercial glazing services. Although we operate under several trusted local brands, we share one commitment: reliable service, professional communication, quality workmanship and making it easy for customers to do business with us. Position Summary We are hiring Automotive Glass Technicians who take pride in safe installation, clean workmanship and respectful customer service. Technicians perform automotive glass repair and replacement in our shops and at mobile locations throughout the service area. Depending on training and certification, the role may also perform or assist with advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) calibration. Experienced technicians are encouraged to apply, and we will consider mechanically capable candidates who demonstrate the judgment, work ethic and attention to detail required to learn the trade. What You'll Do Inspect each vehicle, confirm the correct glass and related parts and document pre-existing conditions before beginning work. Repair windshield chips and replace windshields, back glass, door glass, quarter glass and other automotive glass according to company and manufacturer procedures. Remove and reinstall moldings, trim, cowl panels, mirrors, sensors and related components carefully and completely. Prepare pinchwelds and glass surfaces correctly; use primers, urethane and other materials in accordance with product instructions and safe-drive-away requirements. Protect vehicle interiors and finishes, control broken glass and leave the vehicle and work area clean. Verify operation of windows, cameras, rain sensors, heating elements and other affected features before returning the vehicle. Perform or assist with static and dynamic ADAS calibration when trained, authorized and assigned. Complete required work orders, photos, part usage, inspection results and customer acknowledgments accurately. Explain completed work and safe-drive-away timing clearly, and maintain tools, inventory and company vehicles in organized condition. Communicate promptly when parts are incorrect, damage is discovered or field conditions prevent safe completion. Follow all company safety procedures and represent the organization professionally at every customer location. What We're Looking For Automotive glass installation experience is preferred; related mechanical, collision, automotive or skilled-trade experience will be considered. Strong manual dexterity and mechanical judgment, with the ability to follow procedures and recognize when help or escalation is needed. Dependability, punctuality and professional customer-service skills, including respect for customer vehicles and property. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for mobile assignments. Ability to lift and position automotive glass and equipment, work from different body positions and perform work indoors and outdoors with reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of automotive glass repair and replacement experience. Training or certification in proper windshield installation, urethane systems or ADAS calibration. What Success Looks Like Every vehicle is handled safely and respectfully. Installations are watertight, clean and completed according to procedure; documentation is accurate; and customers understand the work and next steps before the technician leaves.
