Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Mechanic for a leading food and beverage manufacturing client. This individual will support a pilot plant/R D environment by troubleshooting and maintaining process equipment, pumps, motors, conveyors, and packaging systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting production and innovation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced processing equipment, collaborate cross-functionally with operations and engineering teams, and make a direct impact on plant reliability and continuous improvement efforts. Strong candidates may have the opportunity for long-term growth and full-time conversion based on performance Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, and process equipment Support maintenance and operational needs of the pilot plant Act as a liaison between operators and equipment manufacturers/OEMs Participate in daily safety, workflow, and operational meetings Assist with equipment changeovers and packaging line modifications Ensure food quality and safety standards are maintained Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts Maintain safe operations while following established safety protocols Help develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
