Automotive Detailing & Undercoating Technician - Watertown, NY

Automotive Detailing & Undercoating Technician Davidson Auto Group is looking for an individual that is interested in beginning a career in the automotive industry. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the automotive industry. No prior experience is necessary—just bring a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, and we'll train you every step of the way. We provide paid hands-on training along with all tools and equipment needed to successfully perform duties including Automotive Detailing , Undercoating, and Rustproofing.

Full Time Hours:

Monday•Friday with rotating Saturdays (day off during the week when working Saturday)

Pay Range:

$17•$18/hr., (based on relevant work experience) plus monthly incentive bonus•once training is completed.

Responsibilities:

Provides professional cleaning & detailing to interior and exterior of vehicles. Applies paint, fabric and rust protection to our company & customer's vehicles Applies chemicals as directed to complete the Undercoating & Rust Proofing service. As a member of Davidson's Recon Team, you will be responsible for reconditioning our inventory of new and used vehicles Other duties may be assigned as needed

Required Skills:

Must be dependable, detail oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to read printed materials Must be comfortable and competent in using basic hand and power tools Must be able to bend, kneel and twist appropriately to access different areas of a vehicle including the vehicles' under body Must have a sense of urgency to complete required work Must maintain a clean workspace and have experience or prior knowledge of using vehicle lifts. Must be flexible, organized and motivated team player Must be hard working and honest High School Diploma or GED Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be at least 18 years old Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record
