Job Description

Truck Mechanic , Westbury based sanitation fleet seeks truck mechanic with 3 years of experience on diesel trucks.

Responsibilities include:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various trucks and machinery. Perform periodic maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Aftertreatment systems, hydraulic maintenance, brake work, electrical work, AC/Heater repairs. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems and implement solutions. Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have three (3) years' mechanical experience and be naturally neat and organized, punctual and detailed. Pay to match your skills. Over- time available with Saturdays. Valid Driver's License. CDL and •NYS Heavy Truck Inspection License a plus. Must have own tools. Paid holidays.

Union opportunity:

Monday -Friday, 8am - 5pm which includes an hour for lunch.
