Experienced Automotive Technician / Custom Vehicle Specialist American Tire & Motorsports - Yonkers, NY $37-$45/hour, based on experience and ability Full-Time American Tire & Motorsports is looking for a high-level, experienced automotive technician who takes real pride in their work and is genuinely passionate about cars and trucks. We love and take pride in being the best we can, Our shop is always evolving and creating as well as fixing it all brings us pleasure. Our facility is always reinvesting in new technologoy such as cad and 3d printing to old methods of sheet metal shaping. We love restorations and genuinely helping people. We're looking for someone with strong mechanical ability who can diagnose problems, perform repairs correctly, work independently, and see a job through from start to finish. Beyond traditional automotive repair, we do a lot of specialty and custom work, so this is a great position for someone who enjoys building and modifying trucks, Jeeps, cars, hot rods and other unique vehicles. Our work includes advanced diagnostics and electrical, suspension and steering, brakes, drivability and general mechanical repair , along with lift and leveling kits, wheels and tires, lighting, exhaust, hitches, truck and Jeep accessories, fabrication and custom projects.

Someone who takes care of their tools, keeps their bay clean and treats a customer's vehicle as if it were their own. Being a great technician isn't just about being able to fix something. American Tire & Motorsports is a third-generation family automotive business in Yonkers. We work on everything from daily drivers and work trucks to new lifted trucks, Jeeps, performance cars, hot rods and custom projects. This isn't a position where you'll spend every day doing the same repair over and over. We want someone who enjoys the trade, likes challenging work and still gets excited about building something cool.
COMPENSATION
$37-$45/hour depending on experience, skill level and ability. We are willing to pay at the top of the range for a genuinely high-level technician who can diagnose, repair, work independently, stay productive and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
