Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, understanding their vehicle needs with enthusiasm and clarity Accurately assess vehicle issues through mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills, utilizing estimating software to prepare detailed repair estimates Effectively communicate repair recommendations, upselling additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, alignments, and collision repairs Manage all aspects of service writing including detailed documentation of customer concerns and repair orders Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high quality standards Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Maintain excellent client communication throughout the service process to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Writer with dealership or independent shop background Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, suspension systems, alignments, shocks & struts Proficiency in estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity Dealership experience highly preferred; familiarity with auto service management systems is a plus Ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients of varying automotive knowledge levels Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience in auto estimating, collision repair processes, and automotive repair procedures is desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team that values your expertise and dedication!
