- $2500 total Job Description Appealing candidates would have verifiable training and/or work related experience as a MIG welder where welding was the primary duty.
EastCareers.com for more details and to apply for this and other open positions such as; Qualifications Formal training and/or work related experience as a MIG welder (GMAW) Basic understanding of the fitting and assembly process Solid understanding in the proper use of a tape measure All fitting work done with a tape measure requiring a good working knowledge of fractional math Physically able to lift as much as 50 lbs on an occasional basis Able to occasionally work low and from a ladder Other Requirements Present well and be able to read, write and communicate effectively Possess a high school diploma or GED and be prepared to present proof if requested Have a reasonably stable employment history for the past five years or since graduating from a trade or vocational training institution Pass a criminal and driver's license background check Possess a valid, active driver's license Have reliable transportation Work M-Sat, up to 60 hours every week Pass a pre-employment physical and drug test Wage Schedule The starting wage is $22.70 an hour Increases of 50¢ an hour at 6 months and 12 months, plus 2 years and 3 years Additional undetermined increases could apply during the first three years of employment Overtime consistently available and paid at time-and-a-half Benefit Package Health and Welfare package valued at almost $1000 a month with an employee contribution of approximately $49/week for family coverage.
