Full-Time About Us Kia of Bedford is a busy, high-volume service department backed by a strong team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff. We're looking for a dependable Express Technician to join our service lane and keep our customers moving. This is a great entry point into the automotive trade with a clear path to advancement for the right person. What You'll Do As an Express Technician, you'll handle the quick-service, high-turnover maintenance work that keeps our shop running: Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs Complete multi-point inspections and accurately document findings Mount, balance, and rotate tires Replace wipers, batteries, bulbs, cabin/air filters, and other maintenance items Communicate recommended services and additional needs to your service advisor Keep your bay, tools, and work area clean and organized Follow all safety and dealership procedures What We're Looking For A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn — experience is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate Reliable attendance and a team-first attitude Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day High school diploma or equivalent What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) Manufacturer and in-house training with a clear path to becoming a certified line technician Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service A clean, well-equipped, climate-controlled shop How to Apply Apply today and start your career with a dealership that invests in its people.
