Cambridge, OH Panhandle Oilfield Service is seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet, trailers, cranes, forklifts, and oilfield equipment. This hands-on position is responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and completing quality repairs that keep our operations running safely and efficiently. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, heavy trucks, trailers, cranes, forklifts, and oilfield equipment. Overhaul and repair engines, transmissions, differentials, steering, suspension, brake, cooling, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections. Diagnose and repair DEF and emissions systems. Install and replace engines, transmissions, and other major components. Perform welding and light fabrication as needed. Process parts orders and maintain repair documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Communicate equipment repair needs and status with operations personnel. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. What It Takes Minimum 3 years of diesel, heavy equipment, or oilfield mechanical experience preferred. Strong mechanical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills. Experience with diesel engines and DEF/emissions systems. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple repairs. Valid Driver's License required. CDL A preferred. Clean driving record. Willingness to work overtime when business demands require it. Physical Demands Lift up to 75 pounds. Frequently bend, kneel, squat, crawl, climb, and work underneath equipment. Stand and work on your feet for extended periods. Operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifting devices. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
