Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. This is a very unique opportunity for the right flat rate technician who want the opportunity for endless work and earning opportunity. Only dealing with internal work, no manufacturer certification training to keep up with. Chillicothe Truck and Accessories is one of the largest truck dealerships in the country, and we constantly have a back log of work to keep you earning. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Conduct diesel engine repairs and maintenance as needed. Operate power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs and installations. Align vehicle wheels and ensure proper handling characteristics. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting. 3-5 years of shop experience preferred. Proficiency in diagnosing issues using schematics and technical manuals. Experience with diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Ability to operate power tools and perform welding tasks as required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
