Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy, and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. You'll be the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while communicating repair and maintenance needs clearly to our technicians. This role is ideal for someone comfortable with computers, eager to learn Mitchell 1 Shop Management Software , and quick to adapt to Google Workspace tools . Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing automotive service needs. Use Mitchell 1 and Google tools to manage service orders, scheduling, and communication. Conduct thorough consultations to understand vehicle performance concerns. Clearly explain recommended services, such as oil changes, brake repairs, and diagnostics. Upsell services based on vehicle condition and customer needs. Ensure accurate and complete work orders for technicians. Track repair progress and provide timely updates to customers. Process payments and maintain accurate sales/service records. Handle customer questions and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Qualifications Experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role preferred. Strong computer skills ; ability to quickly learn Mitchell 1 and use Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar). Knowledge of automotive service processes and common repairs. Excellent communication and upselling skills. Proficient with cash handling and accurate record-keeping. Self-motivated team player with attention to detail.
