Job Description
Part-Time Shop Mechanic Maumee Valley Group is seeking a dependable Part-Time Shop Mechanic to help maintain our company fleet. This position is ideal for someone with basic automotive maintenance experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping vehicles safe and road-ready. Responsibilities Perform routine oil changes and preventative maintenance on company vehicles. Conduct basic inspections of box trucks, Chevrolet Equinoxes, pickup trucks, and other fleet vehicles. Check and maintain fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, batteries, lights, and other essential components. Replace filters, wiper blades, bulbs, and other routine wear items. Keep accurate maintenance records and report any repairs that require outside service. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Assist with other shop and fleet maintenance tasks as needed. Qualifications Basic automotive maintenance experience required. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused. Schedule Part-Time Flexible schedule (approximately 25-30 hours per week) Start time varying between 9AM-12PM as needed Benefits Weekly pay (every Wednesday) Flexible scheduling Stable, locally owned company Opportunity for additional hours based on business needs If you have experience performing routine vehicle maintenance and are looking for a flexible part-time position, we'd love to hear from you!
