Job Description
Lube Technician/Mechanic Apprentice Charlies' Automotive, Inc.
Liberty Center, OH Job Details Full-time:
Monday - Friday- No Weekends
- $17.
What we are looking for:
A positive and teachable technician, who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, tech-savvy, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities throughout the workday while maintaining professionalism. Position is full-time, Monday through Thursday 8:00 am-5:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance - complete oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections in a timely and efficient matter.
- Identify and replace necessary "wear" items such as air filters and wiper blades.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Inspect vehicles for signs of wear and/or damage and report to the shop manager
- Complete customer service and repair orders efficiently and accurately
- Shop Safety - keep and maintain a clean and clear work area and follow shop safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Previous lube technician experience a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, technology, and techniques
- Willingness to learn and grow skillset
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emotional situations
