Work for a local, family-owned business with a clear vision for business and employee growth Competitive health benefits including medical, dental, vision 6% dollar for dollar match in our company sponsored 401k program Company paid AD&D insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Rental and retail discounts Bonus and incentive pay opportunities Paid parental leave Upward mobility Qualifications Ability to work required day shifts Ability to provide, understand and complete written and verbal instructions Professional appearance Ability to lift 60 lbs. with a reasonable accommodation Ability to be on your feet for most of the day Proficiency in English Valid driver's license High school diploma or GED (preferred) Experience in Equipment Maintenance (preferred) Experience in Small Engine Repair (required) Working knowledge of hydraulic systems (preferred) Working knowledge of diesel engines (required) Responsibilities Perform minor and major tune-ups on a variety of equipment Repair and service our fleet of delivery trucks Maintain construction equipment such as Skid Loaders, Excavators, and Aerial Lifts Diagnose issues and replace parts on equipment as necessary Operate scope and volt-amp tester and read wiring schematics Perform complex tasks such as removing and replacing cylinder head, intake manifold, and exhaust manifold gaskets Repair all mechanical defects and complete manufacturers campaign modifications on trucks and general rental equipment Assist Handy Rents customers who have equipment breakdowns in the field Submit parts and shop supply orders to purchasing department Complete repair statements detailing work performed and parts used Attend store and safety meetings Compensation Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 - $28.00 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
