Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Tire and Battery Technician! In this energetic role, you will be the go-to expert for tire installation, rotation, balancing, and battery replacement, ensuring our customers' vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. Your mechanical skills and passion for automotive repair will help deliver exceptional service while maintaining a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace tires, including mounting, balancing, and alignment services to optimize vehicle handling and safety. Perform battery testing, replacement, and maintenance to ensure reliable vehicle starts and electrical system performance. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, and mechanical inspections. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs with precision. Assist customers by explaining service needs, recommending additional maintenance or products, and providing excellent customer service. Diagnose basic automotive issues using automotive diagnostics equipment to identify necessary repairs or replacements. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during all service procedures. Experience Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred but not required; we value hands-on mechanic experience. Proven automotive diagnostics skills combined with mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems. Experience with tire service including mounting, balancing, and alignment procedures. Familiarity with automotive service tools such as hand tools and power tools is essential. Service technician experience demonstrating the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about vehicle needs. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely during tire rotations or other maintenance tasks.
