Job Description
Jay's Chevrolet GMC is looking for a motivated and dependable Automotive Service Lube Technician to join our Service Department. The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and basic services while providing a high level of quality and customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles and wants to build a career in the automotive industry. Training and opportunities for advancement are available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes Inspect and replace vehicle fluids as needed Lubricate vehicles and perform routine maintenance services Check and adjust tire pressure Rotate and inspect tires Inspect belts, hoses, lights, wipers, and other basic vehicle components Perform multi-point vehicle inspections Identify potential maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures Properly use and maintain tools and equipment Complete all work accurately and efficiently Provide professional and courteous service to customers and fellow team members Qualifications Previous automotive experience preferred, but not required Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance Valid driver's license and a good driving record Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Dependable, punctual, and motivated Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to lift and move parts and equipment and perform physical duties associated with the position What We Offer Competitive pay Full-time employment Opportunities for training and career advancement Employee benefits Employee vehicle purchase opportunities A positive, team-oriented work environment The opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing hometown dealership
