Job Description
Automotive Technician
- $18•40/Hour + 40 Hours Guaranteed Solutions Auto Group•Chickasha, Oklahoma Full-Time | 5 Days a Week | 40 Hours Guaranteed Solutions Auto Group is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our Chickasha service team.
We are a family-owned Buy Here Pay Here dealership that sells, finances, and maintains our own vehicle inventory. That means our technicians have something many shops cannot always offer: Steady work. We are not a traditional retail repair shop built around finding every slightly worn part on a vehicle just to increase the repair ticket.
Our goal is much simpler:
Diagnose the problem. Fix the vehicle correctly. Address legitimate safety concerns. Verify the repair. Get the car back on the road. If you are a productive technician who likes completing jobs instead of chasing unnecessary work, this may be a very good fit.
Pay:
$18
- 40 Per Hour Pay depends on your experience, diagnostic ability, productivity, and the compensation structure that works best for you.
We can offer:
Hourly pay Hybrid hourly/flat-rate pay 40-hour weekly guarantee Full-time, 5-day workweek Steady year-round work If you are currently making good money somewhere else, we are still interested in talking. We are willing to structure compensation around your experience, what you can produce, and how you prefer to work. What You Will Work On Our technicians work on a wide variety of makes and models.
Typical work may include:
Automotive diagnostics Check-engine-light and drivability diagnosis Electrical and electronic troubleshooting Reading wiring diagrams and schematics Engine and powertrain repair Cooling systems A/C systems Suspension and steering Brakes Starting and charging systems General maintenance Oil changes and fluid services Vehicle inspections Pre-sale and customer vehicle repairs Experience with imports, electrical diagnostics, electronics, or advanced scan tools is a major plus. What We Are Looking For We want someone who can take a vehicle, determine what is wrong, make the repair, and finish the job.
The ideal technician:
Has previous automotive repair experience Can diagnose problems instead of only replacing parts Understands modern automotive electrical systems Can use scan tools and diagnostic equipment Can work independently Takes pride in completing repairs correctly Understands the difference between a legitimate repair and unnecessary parts replacement Pays attention to safety-related issues Can manage multiple jobs without letting vehicles sit unfinished Shows up consistently and is ready to work ASE certifications are a plus, but they are not required . We care more about what you can actually diagnose, repair, and complete. Our Shop Philosophy We want our customers' vehicles fixed properly and returned to them as quickly as practical. We do not measure success by how many additional parts a technician can recommend.
We measure success by:
Was the problem diagnosed correctly? Was the vehicle repaired correctly? Were legitimate safety concerns addressed? Did the vehicle get completed and back on the road? That is the job. Why Solutions Auto Group? Because we own and maintain our inventory and service the vehicles our customers drive, we have a consistent flow of work. You are not sitting around hoping retail customers walk through the door. You are also not expected to turn every repair into a giant repair order. We want good technicians who know how to solve problems and get work completed. Solutions Auto Group is a family-owned company that values honesty, transparency, technical ability, productivity, and treating customers fairly. If you are tired of shops where the paycheck depends on finding something else to sell, you may appreciate the way we operate.
