JOB SUMMARY
The Fleet Services Analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing fleet telematics data, monitoring the condition of fleet equipment, and developing metrics and reports on fleet health. This role will work closely with operations management to inform them of required maintenance based on telematics and testing data, track life cycle costs, and assist in the development of asset replacement and rebuild schedules. This position will work 1st shift (8am-5pm).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review and analyze fleet telematics data to monitor and assess equipment condition and performance Monitor real-time data and alerts to make proactive shutdown recommendations to business leaders Conduct condition-based monitoring of fleet equipment using telematics data Review third-party oil analysis results to assess equipment health and make informed maintenance recommendations Support the development and maintenance of reporting metrics to track fleet health and performance Create and design custom reports tailored to fleet performance, vehicle diagnostics, and operational needs Track life cycle costs of fleet equipment ensuring cost effective maintenance and replacement strategies Inform operations management of required maintenance based on telematics and testing data in a timely manner Provide data-driven service and maintenance recommendations to optimize fleet performance and reduce downtime Maintain records and documentation related to fleet equipment, services, and maintenance activities Assist in the development of asset replacement and rebuild schedules Follow all company policies and applicable local, state, and federal regulations Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required At least 3 years of experience in industrial operations, logistics, or a related field required Experience in data analysis, preferably within fleet management or a related area, required Experience with telematics systems preferred Experience with condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets Excellent communication skills to effectively inform and collaborate with various audiences Ability to learn and understand data analysis tools Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Familiarity with third-party oil analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to work independently with minimal guidance Ability to compile and present analytical data in an organized manner Ability to engage and influence with all levels of management Ability to distill complex data into concise and easily understood concepts and recommendations Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lift, push, or pull objects of various dimensions up to 50 lbs. of weight repeatedly Ability to perform 80% sedentary work and tolerate prolonged standing/sitting/walking Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and climb ladders Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects Ability to tolerate working in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions Ability to repeatedly reach, squat, or walk on uneven surfaces
