Take Ten Tire & Service is looking for a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Entry-Level Lube & Tire Technician to join our team in Stillwater, Oklahoma. If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in quality work, and want to learn from experienced professionals, we'll provide the training you need to succeed. No extensive experience? No problem! We're willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.What You'll Do:
- Check and record oil and fluid levels
- Inspect and refill vehicle fluids as needed
- Replace oil filters, air filters, and install new oil drain plugs
- Lubricate moving parts and fittings according to manufacturer specifications
- Add water to radiators and batteries when required
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify maintenance concerns
- Communicate recommended repairs or maintenance needs to Service Advisors
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Work as part of a team to provide fast, friendly, and professional service
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
- Stock inventory and assist with physical inventory counts
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Attend team meetings and complete required paperwork accurately and on time Safety is our priority.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a lube shop or automotive environment
- Basic knowledge of automotive tools and shop practices
- Prior lube service experience or automotive training is a plus—but not required Physical Requirements This position requires:
- Frequent lifting and pushing of up to 50 pounds
- Standing for extended periods
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking throughout the day
- Working in a shop environment with varying temperatures and exposure to grease, oil, and automotive fluids Safety shoes are required and are available through our company cost-sharing program.
