Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday About Us Double J Trailers is a family-owned trailer dealership and repair shop serving Oregon and Washington. Our Albany location specializes in trailer service and repair with a strong focus on horse trailers and living quarters (LQ) units. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and taking pride in quality repairs. Every day is different, this isn't repetitive production work or standing on an assembly line. Experience with horse trailers is preferred, but if you've worked in RV, automotive, marine, equipment, fabrication, construction, maintenance, or similar repair environments, we'd like to talk. What You'll Do Work on a variety of trailer and RV-style systems including: Electrical diagnostics and repair (12V / 110V) Water systems, plumbing, tanks, pumps, and fixtures Appliance troubleshooting and replacement Interior repairs including cabinetry, walls, flooring, and trim Trailer body, structural, and general repair work Brake, suspension, lighting, and service work Pre-delivery inspections and customer units What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude and repair experience Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently Attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable attendance and positive attitude Willingness to learn trailer and living quarters systems Preferred Experience RV technician Trailer repair Automotive technician Marine technician Equipment repair Fabrication or construction experience RV certification Why People Like Working Here Small team with less corporate structure Variety of work, no repetitive assembly work Opportunity to learn new systems and skills Steady year-round workload Your ideas and experience matter
