Monday-Friday with Occasional Saturdays Job Summary Double J Trailers is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Trailer Service Writer / Parts & Warranty Coordinator to join our Albany team. This position is the hub between our customers, technicians, manufacturers, and parts department. You'll help customers through the repair process from start to finish, checking units in, creating repair orders, communicating estimates and updates, coordinating parts, processing warranty claims, and making sure completed work gets delivered smoothly. While we service all types of trailers, about 75%+ of our repair work is horse trailers , including living quarters, electrical, brake, suspension, and general trailer service. Experience with trailers, RVs, agricultural equipment, automotive service, or dealership service writing is a major plus. If you're the type of person who likes keeping things organized, solving problems, and helping customers while keeping a shop moving, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do Welcome customers and gather repair concerns Create and manage repair orders and work schedules Communicate estimates, approvals, timelines, and updates Coordinate with technicians and prioritize workflow Order and track service parts Process manufacturer warranty claims and documentation Review completed repairs with customers at pickup Prepare invoices and collect payment Follow up to ensure a great customer experience Help maintain organized records and service communication What We're Looking For Service writing, service advisor, parts, dealership, RV, trailer, or automotive experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable using computers and learning new software Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Mechanical understanding of trailers, RVs, vehicles, or equipment preferred Ability to explain technical information in a way customers understand Detail-oriented and dependable Bonus Experience Horse trailer or living quarters experience Trailer brake, electrical, suspension, or axle knowledge Warranty administration Parts inventory or ordering experience QuickBooks, service software, or dealership systems Why Double J?
