Job Description

FullJob Description Truck Technician Specialist main focus is to have attention to detail and properly diagnose the customers vehicle for safety and reliability. In this roll the Truck Technician Specialist will be responsible and held accountable for quality and meticulous diagnostic assessments using provided specialized equipment to diagnose and make adjustments. We strive to be successful and provide extraordinary customer service with restoring the vehicle back to safe, reliable condition while ensuring longevity. This individual will systematically disassemble, repair, reassemble and properly align with swiftness meeting labor time guidelines, quality, enhancing performance with an outlook for customer satisfaction. Key Job Responsibilities Organizing jobs and Ordering parts as needed for jobs and storage Complete full vehicle inspections of the front end, axel, and suspension to diagnose bent axles, steering rod issues, and warn ball joints Diagnose and Identify Alignment Issues with specialized tools Perform Alignments by completing adjustments and repairs Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment Occasionally communicate with customers Accurately document all work performed and checked with suggestions Inspecting others, and have own work inspected after repairs Wlilling to conduct alignments, brakes, suspension work, and other related duties as assigned Education and/or Experience Required .Willing to train the right person Previous mechanical experience preferred Knowledge of basic mechanical operations of trucks, semis, SUVs, trailers, and RVS Welding knowledge a bonus Required Sklls/Abillties Excellent mechanical inclination Significant problem-solving skills Capable to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Extensive attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow written and verbal instruction Ability to work alone and as a team, with little supervision Willing to thoroughly understand methods and procedures Through understanding of how to use tools required for the trade Other Requirements Team Player is a must Must be able to work in a loud area safely Must be organized while disassembling parts to successfully reassemble . Must be able to lift 50 Ibs at times Must be able to inspect, write and document vehicle problems Must be Versatile to work from one location to another, example is to go from aligning trucks to completing suspension Must be able to successfully perform the job on the ground and standing, bending, stretching, kennling, and squatting to complete inspections and repairs.
