Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Complete auto estimating for repairs and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines. Maintain a clean and organized work space. Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license. Must have basic tools and roll around cart. Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent auto repair shops preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, and electrical components. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools (scan tools, smoke test machine, a/c machine) and schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Experience working on a wide range of vehicles is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Certification in automotive repair or related fields is desirable but not a deal breaker; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current on industry advancements.

Pay:
