As a Toyota Certified Technician, you'll perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles known for their quality and reliability while using the latest Toyota technology and manufacturer resources. Our busy service department provides a consistent workflow, allowing certified technicians to maximize their earning potential. You'll be supported by experienced leadership, state-of-the-art equipment, and ongoing manufacturer training designed to help you continue advancing your skills and certifications. What You'll Do Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards . Diagnose cause of malfunction. Road test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work. Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results. Acquire and maintain manufacturer certifications by completing the necessary and required training. Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner. Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as "special tools". What You'll Bring Prior Toyota experience required Strong mechanical, electrical skills, and computing skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality Comfortable using technology and quick to learn new systems. Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
