Schedule:
Monday-Friday; 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately six months. Full Job Description A client of ours in Newberg is looking to add two Entry Level Fleet Maintenance Technicians to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical aptitude who enjoys working on vehicles and equipment. You'll perform preventative maintenance, inspect fleet vehicles, coordinate repairs, and help keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently. Candidates will complete a brief hands-on skills assessment during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, tire inspections, battery service, and fluid checks Conduct vehicle safety inspections Wash, clean, and detail vehicles and equipment Identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs with outside vendors Transport vehicles to and from repair facilities Maintain maintenance records and service schedules Track inventory of maintenance supplies and replacement parts Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle maintenance Experience with vehicle or equipment maintenance is preferred but not required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely use hand and power tools Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Must pass a criminal background check
Pay:
$20.71 per hour
