Accountabilities & Responsibilities Works with the manager and other mechanics to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components of vehicles. May perform test drives, inspections, and other diagnostic procedures on vehicles to identify issues and determine which parts require repair or replacement. Completes preventative maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, fluid flushes and replacements, and brake replacement. Repairs vehicle body damage and may assist with washing and painting vehicle exteriors. Supports the development of repair timelines and estimates and discusses repair options with clients as needed. Inspects internal systems and controls to ensure vehicles are operating properly and in compliance with state regulations. Maintains accurate records related to clients, vehicles, parts, and service history. Uses shop equipment as instructed and performs regular maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience & Education High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two (2) years of automotive mechanic experience preferred. Knowledge & Skills Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles while following safety instructions and procedures. Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and other shop equipment. Excellent active listening, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with others, work collaboratively within a team environment, and maintain strong interpersonal relationships. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding work documents and conversations encountered during the performance of job duties. Ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. No Immigration or work visa sponsorship for this position. #
