Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of machinery and electrical systems. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repair activities involving low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical blueprint reading. Operate and maintain specialized tools such as welders (including welding), scissor lifts, and HVAC/R systems to ensure safety and compliance. Assist in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems, hydraulic components, and schematics interpretation for efficient repairs. Provide field service support for equipment troubleshooting and repairs at various locations as needed. Maintain excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and supporting production needs promptly. Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical diagnostics, and industrial maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with CMMS software for maintenance management. Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documents. Demonstrated ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters effectively. Experience with HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), field service operations, and industrial electrician work preferred. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage electrical systems, troubleshooting pneumatic circuits, and schematics interpretation is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service orientation to support internal teams and external clients effectively.
