Job Description

Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive, construction mechanic who enjoys working autonomously, doing routine maintenance to ensure our fleet of trucks/trailers/heavy equipment/power tools are operational for our foremen, CDL drivers, operators and crew members. You will be working alongside our current mechanic/technician ensuring job orders are complete. Must have experience with troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all types of heavy equipment and vehicles. Must be able to anticipate potential issues by communicating with employees when trucks/equipment is returned at end of day. Skills and Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License required with reliable transportation Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently Hard working and Self-Motivated Must have own tools (company will supply specialty tools) DOT certified a plus Job duties: Perform scheduled maintenance Keep equipment in a good, clean, orderly condition and reports all deficiencies to supervisor Small tool maintenance and repair Performs daily, weekly required inspections, and documents in records Actively follows company safety policy and procedures in the shop and job site and promotes safe behavior to others Complete and file all applicable reports and paperwork Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Salary:
$30 - $35/
Hour Hours:
