Position Overview MULE Expedition Outfitters is looking for an experienced Automotive Accessory Install Technician to join our growing Tualatin team. The ideal candidate has previous experience working on trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, and off-road vehicles and is comfortable installing aftermarket accessories with minimal supervision. You should be mechanically inclined, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work. This position works closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure every vehicle leaves our shop meeting MULE's high standards. Responsibilities Install aftermarket automotive accessories, including: Suspension systems Front and rear bumpers Winches Rock sliders Roof racks Bed racks and truck canopies Off-road lighting Recovery equipment Air systems 12-volt electrical components Differential upgrades Perform installations according to manufacturer specifications. Read and follow installation instructions accurately. Troubleshoot installation issues when necessary. Complete installations efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates. Assist with additional shop projects as needed. Qualifications Previous experience installing aftermarket automotive accessories is required. Experience with suspension systems, bumpers, winches, differential installs, and 12-volt electrical systems is required. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Must own and maintain a complete set of professional automotive hand tools and power tools, along with a rolling toolbox, sufficient to perform daily installation work. Specialty tools and shop equipment are provided by MULE Expedition Outfitters. Physical Requirements Applicants must be able to: Frequently lift up to 100 lbs. Stand and work on their feet for up to 8 hours per day. Safely operate automotive hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Meet production deadlines without sacrificing quality.
