Vehicle Integration Engineers

Mechanical & Electrical Systems Location:

Allentown, PA

•100%

Onsite Pay:

$45

•65 per hour W2

Duration:

Anticipated 12-month contract or longer

Schedule:

Full-time We are proactively recruiting Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Systems Engineers for a potential upcoming defense vehicle program in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Candidates must be willing to work 100% onsite in Allentown. Available Positions 1. Mechanical Vehicle Integration Engineer 2. Electrical Engineers 1. We are seeking Mechanical Engineers with hands-on vehicle, heavy-equipment, automotive, military-vehicle or commercial-truck experience. The engineer will support the integration and validation of mechanical components installed on a vehicle frame or chassis.

Responsibilities:

Review CAD models, engineering drawings and design documentation Support the integration of axles, gearboxes, driveline components, suspension components and other vehicle systems Confirm that components and installations meet engineering requirements and applicable standards Evaluate component fit, interfaces, mounting, clearances and overall system compatibility Identify design issues and coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams Support vehicle-level integration, troubleshooting and technical reviews Work with mechanical, manufacturing, quality and systems-engineering personnel

Required Qualifications:

Professional mechanical engineering experience involving vehicles, heavy equipment or mobile platforms Experience integrating components onto a frame or chassis Experience with axles, gearboxes, drivetrains, suspension systems or comparable mechanical assemblies Ability to interpret CAD models, drawings, specifications and engineering standards Experience confirming that designs and components meet technical requirements Defense or military-vehicle experience is strongly preferred Electrical Vehicle Systems Integration Engineer 2. We are seeking Electrical Engineers with vehicle-level systems integration and troubleshooting experience. This is not a software-development, coding or wiring-harness design position.

Responsibilities:

Integrate electrical, electronic and software-controlled systems within vehicles Verify that vehicle subsystems communicate and operate together properly Connect and use diagnostic tools or code readers Read, interpret and troubleshoot vehicle fault codes Diagnose electrical, electronic, communications and software-related system issues Perform vehicle-level functional testing and fault isolation Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software and test teams to resolve integration problems Document test results, system issues and corrective actions

Required Qualifications:

Professional electrical or systems engineering experience involving vehicles, heavy equipment or mobile platforms Experience integrating electrical and electronic systems within vehicles Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools or code readers Ability to interpret fault codes and troubleshoot electrical and software-controlled systems Experience performing system-level testing, integration and fault isolation Defense or military-vehicle experience is strongly preferred This Electrical Systems position does not involve: Software coding or application development Wiring-harness design Detailed electrical drafting as the primary responsibility Application Questions Please include answers to the following with your application: Are you applying for the Mechanical Vehicle Integration or Electrical Systems Integration position?
