This process begins with testing and checking vehicles to determine the amount of structural, body, mechanical and interior damage. You will also work with the estimator to determine the cost of the repair. Repairs to the vehicle may include straightening bent bodies, replacing body parts, removing dents and damaged panels and refinishing the metal using a variety of tools. Collision experience is preferred, but we will consider graduates from respected automotive collision programs as well. Body Shop Technician Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent, automotive collision training highly preferred Commitment to excellent customer service High productivity while maintaining high quality work Ability to work well with co-workers Strong detail orientation Ability to understand manufacturer's specifications 5+ years of body technician experience Selected candidate must be able to perform all job functions that require bending, standing, lifting, and reaching.
