Job Description

Auto Mechanic 81 Lambert St, Central City, PA 15926
Full-time Full-time Automotive Mechanic Duties:
  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and transmission failures.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
  • Use power tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Follow schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair complex automotive systems.
  • Perform air brake repairs and maintenance on commercial vehicles.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs in a clear and concise manner.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain, electrical, and braking systems.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Experience with oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair of vehicles.
