Fleet Mechanic- 1st Shift

Hiring a Fleet Mechanic in Chambersburg, PA Job Description Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, forklifts, skid steers, and other fleet equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues and ensure timely repairs to keep operations running smoothly. Collaborate with maintenance staff and follow safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections. This a direct-hire permanent position 1st shift 7am-5pm

Monday-Friday Pay Rate:

$24-$34/hour Responsibilities Conduct maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of fleet equipment including trucks, trailers, forklifts, and skid steers. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime. Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure all safety protocols are followed. Keep detailed records of all repairs and inspections performed. Essential Skills Proficiency in diesel, fleet maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience with brake systems, mechanical repairs, and truck maintenance. Knowledge of engine and brake systems, trailer repair, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
