We provide high-end ground transportation services including airport transfers, corporate travel, weddings, and special events throughout the Philadelphia region, New Jersey, New York City, and Washington D.C. With a diverse fleet of luxury sedans, vans, shuttle buses, and motor coaches, we pride ourselves on safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service. We are growing and looking for a strong, hands-on leader to take ownership of our fleet maintenance operations. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager / Lead Fleet Mechanic to oversee the maintenance, reliability, and performance of our diverse transportation fleet. This is not a typical mechanic role. We are looking for a self-motivated leader who can build systems, implement preventative maintenance programs, train team members, reduce vehicle downtime, and take full ownership of the maintenance department with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is proactive, process-oriented, and capable of building a scalable maintenance operation as the company grows.
Fleet Overview Our fleet includes:
Ford Transit Vans Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Vans Ford
E450 & F550
Shuttle Buses Freightliner Shuttle Buses MCI Motor Coaches Custom commercial air conditioning systems Suburban SUVs, Lincoln Nautilus, and Volvo S90 sedans Experience working on a mixed fleet of diesel and gasoline commercial vehicles is strongly preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Maintenance & Repairs Perform and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs across the fleet Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, AC, suspension, brake, steering, and drivability issues Troubleshoot complex vehicle problems independently Coordinate major repairs with outside vendors when necessary Ensure all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and ready for service Fleet Management & Systems Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules Build and maintain digital maintenance tracking systems Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance operations Track vehicle downtime and identify root causes for improvement Manage parts inventory and purchasing Monitor maintenance costs and implement cost-saving initiatives Team Development & Leadership Train, mentor, and develop mechanics and support staff Create repeatable maintenance procedures and training documentation Establish clear performance standards and accountability Help build a maintenance department that can support company growth Compliance & Safety Maintain DOT compliance and safety standards Ensure vehicles pass all required inspections Assist with accident-related repairs and investigations Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement We are looking for someone who: Takes full ownership of the maintenance operation without needing constant direction Builds systems and improves processes proactively Has strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Enjoys training and developing team members Thinks long-term and focuses on prevention rather than reaction Is organized, accountable, and detail-oriented Wants to grow with the company and eventually move into higher leadership roles Qualifications 7+ years of fleet maintenance experience (commercial vehicles strongly preferred) Strong experience working on buses, shuttles, vans, and coaches Solid knowledge of both diesel and gasoline engines Experience with commercial bus and bus AC systems is a plus Strong electrical diagnostic skills Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred CDL preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to build and lead a maintenance department Stable, growing company with room for advancement Supportive team environment This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who wants to make a direct impact by building efficient systems and keeping our fleet operating at the highest level of safety and reliability.
