Technical Skills:

Engine Diagnostics:

Use lab scopes and scanners to find deep internal engine or fuel system faults

Electrical Systems:

Read complex wiring diagrams and fix multiplexing or computer network issues

Drivability:

Test and repair rough idles, hesitation, and bad fuel economy problems

Unit Overhaul:

Tear down, rebuild, and re-seal engines, transmissions, and major drive-axle units

Tools and Work Habits:

Professional Tools:

Own a complete set of hand tools, specialty diagnostic meters, and air/battery power tools

Fast and Accurate:

Fix hard problems right the first time without wasting shop time Must be able to work well with others and independently Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers We offer: Air-conditioned shop Two lifts per tech Paid time off Paid holidays Hourly pay and not flat rate work First shift, no nights or weekends Starting rate $30+/hour for the right candidate Review after 3 months with potential for a raise and overtime
