No weekends! Why work at Lancaster Nissan? We are looking for a goal-oriented, career-focused Automotive Service Technician to join our technician team at Lancaster Nissan. We are a family-owned automotive dealership located in Lancaster County. No-cost Nissan Factory training, as well as onsite training provided. We service customer vehicles and the New and Pre-owned sales lots. Hard work and work ethic will allow you to reach your goals. All technicians are available to work on internal vehicles. We will offer a competitive flat rate based on previous experience.
Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities:
Performing state safety inspections & emission inspections All required maintenance services such as oil changes, tire replacement, brake replacement or repairs, and exhaust repairs Understanding of computer operations and diagnostic tools used to diagnose computer and electrical issues Complete necessary paperwork to explain in writing what a diagnosis and repair was Complete necessary paperwork for state inspections and emission testing Keep work area clean and orderly at all times Be here, in uniform and on time every day prepared to start at 7:00 am Stay current on both required and optional Nissan training both online and at Nissan's training center Work with other technicians in the shop in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner Perform used vehicle inspections according to Lancaster Nissan's check sheet Perform new vehicle pre-delivery inspections according to Nissan Motor Corporation's check sheet
Automotive Technician Job Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record Must be proficient in most vehicle maintenance services Must have own tools
