Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills to ensure vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and suspension components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Service automotive electrical systems, and other electronic components to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and auto estimating software to determine repair procedures and costs. Perform wheel alignments, brake repairs, engine overhauls, and diesel engine repairs with precision. Maintain detailed service records, ensure quality control standards are met, and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery Excellent customer service skills coupled with auto estimating experience to provide transparent communication. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
